Are you our new Sales Manager that can assist and participate in driving sales activities through multiple sales channels on a global scale? DESMI Ro-Clean A/S is one of the world’s leading developers and suppliers of solutions within Clean-up after major oil spills and solutions to combat plastic pollution in rivers and oceans worldwide. As our new Sales Manager, you will be reporting to the Sales Director and will be driving our customer relationship management and sales in close cooperation with an experienced team of colleagues.

Become part of an ambitious and engaged organisation
As Sales Manager, you will have full responsibility for our growth within our Environmental Clean-Up solutions, as well as global sales directly or through our own world-wide sales network based on DESMI Subsidiaries, and through our agents and Distributors.

Key responsibility areas:

• Driving the sales and business development
• Customer visits including presentation and negotiations.
• Sales and marketing activities for increased sales and customer satisfaction.
• Search and develop new customers.
• Preparation of quotes.
• Direct sales activities, assisting and supporting sales through our DESMI net-work and partners.
• Sales budget responsible.
• Market research and reporting for new business opportunities.
• Participating in exhibitions and fairs.
• Training and education of colleagues and external customers.

You will be part of the DESMI Ro-Clean sales team, which is located at our office in Odense, Denmark. In addition you will have close collaboration with DESMI sales personnel. You should expect some travel activity, around 80 days per year.

Our office in Odense is located at DESMI Ro-Clean headquarter with more than 40 employees and own production and warehouse facilities and you will become part of a large international company with more than 185 years history and around 800 employees worldwide.

Sales Manager in the marine segment
Maybe you have a proven record of accomplishment with successful involvement in sales activities in the maritime segment or other relevant environmental business area – but could also be from other lines of businesses. Furthermore, you may have experience with meeting customers on various organisational levels within both private and government sector, managing sales activities, including experience with managing in-direct sales through a network of sales representatives, agents and distributors. Preferably, you have a background with good technical understanding of tailor made solutions and equipment for oil spill or other clean-up solutions. You have good communication skills and you are fluent in written and spoken English.
