Warranty and Claims Investigation Engineer

Are you our new Warranty and Claims Investigation Engineer? Can you handle claims to ensure customers get the full support they need during the warranty period?

We have been experiencing growth and are looking for an ambitious, highly skilled, and customer focused technician to strengthen our dedicated Warranty team even further.

As our new Warranty and Claims Investigation Engineer, you will handle minor and major claims, lead investigations of claims, and propose technical improvements to prevent continuous claims.

You will be in direct contact with DESMI’s customers, sub suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibility areas:

·         Handle customer claims in a customer focused, efficient, and timely manner in accordance with the contractual obligations

·         Trouble shooting and root cause analysis for remedial actions

·         Investigation of major ongoing claims

·         Ensure high quality registration of claims for further quality work

·         Contribute to developing a global Warranty team with a uniform way of handling claims.

·         Share knowledge both within and outside the Warranty team

·         Visit customers

The position is located at our headquarters in Nørresundby, Denmark.

You can expect 20 – 30 travel days yearly.

We expect that you have an educational background in mechanical or electrical engineering or similar. If you have hands on experience from sailing, working as service engineer or similar, it is an advantage.
You are a team player and capable of making your own decisions.
You have an understanding of cultural differences and good communication skills in English both verbally and in writing.
