Business Analyst

Position Overview
In DESMI, we are on an exciting growth journey where making timely and right decisions are key to ensure our future success. As a Business Analyst at DESMI, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for data, and the ability to communicate complex findings to a variety of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a data-driven culture within the organization by using and advocating for best practices in data visualization and analysis.
• Collaborate with business units to identify data needs and translate business requirements into meaningful dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Conduct pricing analysis to determine the optimal product price in close corporation with our Sales Excellence team.
• Monitor data quality and accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data consistency.
• Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to continually enhance reporting capabilities.
• Support our strategic and operational improvement initiatives with valuable data insight.
• Participate in upcoming data warehouse development and ERP implementation to ensure data quality and reporting requirements.
  

• You have a master’s degree in Business Data Science, Computer Science, Management Accounting, or a related field and/or proven experience from a similar position.
• You could also be an experienced BI consultant wanting to join the “other side” and see the real value of all your hard work
• You love to work with unstructured data from multiple sources with a focus on data analysis and visualization.
• You have excellent communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• You have an eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• You have a strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI and proficiency in SQL and DAX
• It is a plus if you have knowledge of data governance, master data and data quality best practices.
