As our new Sales Manager – Automation, you will be responsible for results and value-based sales by offering our energy saving systems and automated solutions. You will be responsible for an automation team and collaborate with an established network of local offices identifying opportunities to grow the customer base and build positive relationships with new customers. To be successful as a Sales Manager - Automation, you properly have an engineering degree, sailing experience or similar background as the solid foundation for greater value-based sales and understanding our customers’ needs. You must embody a self-starting demeanor, taking the initiative to carve out your own direction within the role, motivate and develop your own team while simultaneously fostering collaborative relationships and synergies across our global network of subsidiaries and partners. Sales Manager – Automation Responsibilities (not limited to): - Strengthen sales though automation solutions that will contribute to greater vessel efficiency.
- Sales budget responsibilities and pipe-line management for assessments of the growth ambitions
- Build and maintain profitable relationships with customers.
- Close coordination across the organization, marketing activities, and customer meetings for growing the business.
- People management, right resources, and support for safeguarding a highly motivated sales organization.
- Be motivated by new challenges for developing new sales and services according to customer needs and market developments.
You will be reporting to DESMI Pumping Technology A/S in Aalborg – Denmark but being a part of an international organization. This position entails global travel as dictated by customer demands, ensuring a harmonious balance between meeting international objectives and maintaining personal work equilibrium.
