DESMI is looking for a Manager for the AquaCulture Technology & Application team in the newly established AquaCulture Segment. This job provides a unique opportunity for an ambitious person to become part of a successful establishment of DESMI as the leading Flow-Solution Provider (Pumps, UV-equipment etc.) in the global AquaCulture Industry.

Being Manger for AquaCulture Technology & Application
DESMI is a global manufacture of pump solutions with headquarters in Nørresundby in Denmark. We are on a growth journey and are seeking talented colleagues to fill out new roles in the organization. In the role as Manager for AquaCulture Technology & Application, you will be leading an international team of initially 3-4 people located in our offices in Denmark and Norway. In the future, the team will expand to include team-members from other DESMI offices. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the cooperation and engagement with other departments, such as R&D, Logistics and Production etc.

The purpose and the ambition for the AquaCulture Technology & Application team is to:

• Deliver high level of cooperation with our KAM/Sales team to win orders in a Global market.
• When sales projects are won – take over 100% responsibility and ensure smooth project execution in cooperation with the customer and with DESMI Production and Logistics departments.
• Participate in the introduction of new products and product improvements in general.
• Cooperate with partners and suppliers in the AquaCulture Industry
• Etc.

About you
To be successful in the role as Manager for AquaCulture Technology & Application in our newly established AquaCulture Segment you need to be able to make decisions for your own and your team’s workflow based on a foundation of general business understanding and DESMI’s strategy and values. You maybe have a technical background as Marine engineer or Mechanical/Electrical engineer. You might also have an educational background as a biologist and have previous experience within AquaCulture. However – your educational background is not what weighs highest. The most important is that you generally have the right combination of skills, personality, attitude and engagement. The job requires a hands-on person who is not afraid to get things started while still focusing on quality and important details.
