The position as project engineer is based in Poland where 5 more team members are working from, whilst headquarters in Nørresundby Denmark is home to the main part of the department consisting of all in all 30 employees ranging from automation, mechanical and project engineers to project managers and assistants.

The job
Currently, we are looking for 2 new colleagues that will work with us to deliver engineering solutions to our customers. The new project engineers will be located regionally in the DESMI Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw, Poland, together with the Polish team, but will be working on international projects managed in Denmark.
As project engineer your main responsibilities will be creation and delivery of engineering and support documentation for our projects.
Project engineer main responsibilities are:
• Creating project documentation (QA management, project management, logistics)
• Working with technical specification
• Writing operation and maintenance manuals
• Preparation and review of ILS deliverables, including supplier ILS deliverables
• Contacting suppliers and customers to obtain relevant information
• Understanding and implementing standards and requirements
In addition (not mandatory), we are looking for experience with following tasks:
• Creating 3D models and 2D documentation in PTC Creo and Windchill PDM
• Creating P&ID and choosing piping components
• Performing and documenting FMEA Analysis
• FEA Analysis
In our daily work, we utilize Scrum framework. It would be great if a candidate has experience with that or any other Agile methods.
Your profile
The position requires high communication skills in English and Polish. Ideally, +5 years of experience in the field of project-, system-, or ILS engineering in an international customer and project-oriented environment combined with a relevant technical education.
As a Project Engineer you should possess the follow skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are imperative
• Excellent computer skills (Office package)
• Hold engineering degree
• Have documented experience as project, system process or instrumentation engineering design and documentation from technical environment
• Have a natural passion to find creative and optimal solution
• Be a team player and a strong communicator
Advantages, but not mandatory qualifications are:
• CAD Design (we use PTC Creo and Windchill as our CAD / PDM platform)
• FEA Analysis
• Piping systems
• S1000D standard
• Military projects and standards
• Knowledge of such standards as: DNV-GL, Lloyds, ABS, etc.
• Noise and vibration analysis
Expected travel days
From 10 to 30 days per year (primary location to visit: DESMI Pumping Technology A/S in Nørresundby Denmark).
