The job
The new Technical Support Engineer will be mainly part of the Marine & Offshore sales team, located in local office DESMI Sp. z o.o. in Gdynia, Poland.
Job description:
• Unit selections (pumps, motors, frequency converters, accessories),
• Offers preparation for units,
• Co-visit on customers site together with M&O Sales Manager - Poland
• Technical support and active cooperation with Sales Department of the Company,
• Taking care of customers (both current and newly acquired),
• Customer assistance in obtaining appropriate products according to customer needs,
• Translation of technical and marketing documentation
• Taking other actions specified by the Employer resulting from the current needs of the Company.
• Report to / communicate with M&O Sales Manager – Poland and Managing Director – Poland and the headquarters in Denmark
• All aspects of sales, including technical clarification, commercial evaluation, quoting and required negotiation.
• Active participation in exhibitions and seminars.
Requirements:
• Ability to work in an international organization where personality and honesty are important
• Technical university degree, preferable with mechanical engineering or other relevant technical education, combined with Marine & Offshore or Industry experience.
• Experience within pump technology will be an advantage.
• Strong presentation & communication skills
• Communication in Polish and English (orally and in writing)
• Service minded and solution-oriented personality
• Driving license
Expected travel days pr. year
Between 20 - 30 days per year
