Project Manager for DESMI Ocean Guard A/S – Operations team

As part of our continuous growth, we are now hiring staff to our technical department and are expanding our Operations team with organized and solution-oriented Project Managers. Committed to the goal of preventing the spread of invasive species in the world's oceans, DESMI Ocean Guard A/S offers ballast water management systems (BWMS), which enables vessels to effectively treat their ballast water before discharge. DESMI Ocean Guard A/S gains continuously market share and is one of the world's leading developers and manufacturers of BWMS’s.

 Responsibilities:

• Technical support to customers and DESMI service engineers after commissioning of the BWMS.
• Claim handling and implementation of ideas and solutions addressed through customer claims.
• Management and execution of projects like:
  • Secure and improve product quality in cooperation with DESMI’s Global Supply Chain and quality assurance.
  • Operational business intelligence related to quality assurance and monitoring of quality from suppliers.
  • Optimize technical documentation in relation to maintenance, operation, FAT/SAT and operator training.
• Maintaining and improving technical support documentation such as: FAQ, troubleshooting procedures, service bulletins and operational procedures.
• Creating and maintaining customer satisfaction.

 You should expect up to 20 travel days/year, in relation to inspections and support of our products worldwide. The positions are based at our main office in Nørresundby, Denmark.

 Qualifications:

• Technical background such as Marine Engineer, Mechanical engineer, Naval architect etc.
• Able to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
• Commercial mind-set.
• Skilled communicator in written and spoken English.
• Practical approach to all tasks.
• Maritime and BWMS projects experience is an advantage.
• Responsible, persistent, positive, accurate and organized.
• The ability to gain knowledge and master new technology independently.
