The Job
Currently, we are looking for a new colleague that will work with us to deliver advanced engineering solutions to our customers. The new Project Engineer will be located regionally in DESMI Sp. z o.o, Warsaw, Poland, together with the Polish team, but will be working with international projects managed in Denmark.
Your main responsibilities as a Project Engineer will be the creation and delivery of engineering and support documentation for our customers.
The Project Engineer main responsibilities are: - Creating projects’ engineering documentation (support, ILS, logistics, quality, commissioning)
- Writing technical, operation and maintenance manuals for pumps and pumping systems
- Working with technical specifications and customer contractual requirements
- Contacting suppliers and customers to obtain relevant information
- Support in creation and development of DESMI standard documentation and standards
- Creating technical drawings for documentation purposes
Your Profile
The position requires high communication skills in English and Polish. Ideally, 5+ years of experience in the field of engineering for an international customer and project-oriented environment combined with relevant technical education.
What we think is needed to succeed in this role: - Being fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Having experience in preparing contractual engineering documentation, such as technical manuals,spare parts, ILS, Illustrated Parts Catalogue, maintenance schedules, test reports, certification data-books etc.., and similar
- Possessing excellent computer skills (MS Office package, Adobe Acrobat)
- Holding an Engineering Degree
- Being a strong team player
- Being able to communicate freely with other teammates, suppliers and customers
- Have a natural passion to find the creative and optimal solution
Preferred qualifications (will be considered as a plus): - Practical knowledge of FME(C)A, MTA, TNA, ARM, S1000D,
- Knowledge of standards such as DNV-GL, Lloyds, ABS, NORSOK, Mil-Std, Def-Stan etc.
- ATEX, foreign HSE regulations
- Experience as a Project Engineer or relevant positions
- Basic knowledge of CAD software
- Knowledge of ERP and QPM systems (such as INFOR)
- Agile methodologies (KANBAN/Scrum/JIRA software)
- Working with many projects simultaneously
