Global Naval Sales and Business Intelligence Manager at DESMI Defence & Fuel

Do you have experience with technical and commercial solutions within the naval sector? If so, then you might be our new Global Naval Sales and Business Intelligence Manager.

At DESMI, we are constantly working to empower our customers. We achieve this by delivering flexible and innovative pump solutions to the defense sector. Combined with excellent customer service, our goal is to become the leading supplier of pump solutions in the global market for warships, airbases, and more. For this task, we are seeking the right individual with both technical and commercial knowledge and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales of DESMI Defence & Fuel pumps and pump systems to navy and coast guard in collaboration with our specialized and dedicated sales team.
  • Development of sales width and depth, including exploring new markets and product enhancements.
  • Technical collaboration with customers and other project stakeholders, both internally and externally, including quote and project proposal development.
  • Contract review.
  • Training and support for DESMI's subsidiaries and agents to nurture and expand business in their respective home markets.
  • Marketing tasks related to DESMI and its products, including fairs, conferences, networking meetings, and especially customer visits.
  • Establishing a Business Intelligence program to cover navy and coast guard customers.


  • Extensive experience in Naval defense sales and international sales, particularly in the maritime and naval industry.
  • Ability to combine sales expertise with excellent customer service.
  • Independent, solution-oriented, and committed to achieving the best results for the department and DESMI as a whole.
  • Comfortable with extended international travel, approximately 60-90 travel days per year.
  • Knowledge of pumps, fuel handling, sales processes, and collaboration with defense, both nationally and internationally.
  • Customer-focused with a strong emphasis on commercial solutions.


  • Must be able to obtain security clearance from the Danish Defense Intelligence Service.
