HR intern and student worker positions in DESMI’s global HR department

DESMI is a global pump manufacturing company with production facilities in both Denmark and China and sales offices in 20 different countries around the world. Furthermore, DESMI has just released its new strategy and is on an exciting growth journey. Therefore, we want to fill and develop our HR talent pipeline with clever, ambitious and passioned students to assist and support our HR team in Denmark.

The position
We are looking for both student workers and interns that want to use their theoretical knowledge and develop their work experience within areas such as Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding and HR operations.

You will join the Danish HR team which is located at our Headquarters in Nørresundby and consists of four employees. We appreciate professionalism but we leave room for jokes and laughter. We are a small team so it is important that you are willing to help where needed, as you will work closely with the whole team.

Your primary tasks
In your role as Intern/student worker, you will assist and participate in:

Global Employer Branding:

  • Coordination and execution of targeted Employer Branding activities
  • Building an employer branding toolbox and standards to be used at all DESMI locations.

Global Recruitment:

  • Getting the global recruitment processes, methods, tools, leadership training, etc. up running

Culture, Leadership and People Development: 

  • Development, implementation and coordination of diverse learning and development projects, concepts, and training activities
  • Onboarding activities

Administrative HR support:

  • Recruitment Support (Posting job adverts, arranging interviews and tests etc.)
  • Onboarding support
  • Securing that templates, processes, and policy documents are kept up to date
  • Possibly diverse presentations, preparation, and administrative support to/with HR colleagues in the Danish HR team

Your professional and personal qualifications:
To be a part of our HR team you must be studying for a relevant Master within business and be passionate about working in the field of Human Resources. Preferably, you have a sweet spot for recruitment, employer branding and development.

The key to success as a student worker/intern in our HR department is to be structured and able to work both independently and in a team. Furthermore, we expect that you:

  • are fluent in English
  • have a fundamental business understanding
  • have experience with MS office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • are solution oriented, self-driven and a fast learner
  • are curious and outgoing
  • do not mind routine tasks
  • have an innovative and creative mindset

Experience from similar positions is an advantage, but not a necessity.
